To clean the water tank of the Hamilton Beach 19806 steam iron, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely.
2. Remove any remaining water from the tank by pouring it out.
3. Half-fill the water tank with warm water and gently shake it to loosen any residue.
4. Empty the water tank and thoroughly rinse it with water. Do not use detergent.
5. If there is any stubborn residue, you can use a soft brush or cloth to scrub the inside of the tank.
6. After cleaning, fill the tank with fresh water and empty it again to ensure all residue is removed.
7. Repeat this cleaning process as needed to keep the water tank clean and free from buildup.
