To install accessories on the HERCULES HCB42B Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the power switch is in the OFF position and the battery pack is removed.
2. Move the release lever forward to the open position and remove the flange.
3. Line up the accessory's mounting holes with the spindle's fitting pins.
4. Replace the flange and tighten it snugly.
5. Move the release lever back to its original position to secure the accessory.
6. After securing the accessory, check that it does not move on the spindle. If it can move with the power off, reinstall it, making sure the holes on the accessory line up with the fitting pins on the spindle.
Note: When attaching a cutter blade, make sure the blade faces away from the handle to avoid injury.
