To change the operating mode and position of the chisel on the Metabo KHEV 5-40 BL 40mm SDS Max Rotary Hammer Drill, follow these steps:
1. Insert the chisel into the tool.
2. Turn the switch button (7) to the interim position.
3. Turn the chisel to the desired position.
4. Turn the switch button (7) to the chiseling operating mode.
5. Turn the chisel until it engages.
Please note that when a chisel is fitted, the machine should only be operated in the chiseling operating mode. Avoid levering with the machine when a chisel is fitted and do not activate the switch button until the motor has completely stopped.
