To install the seat on the Hobie 609908 Mirage Lynx Kayak, follow these steps:
1. Connect the rear seat bottom frame into the seat holders on the back of the kayak. Push down on the seat until it snaps into the holders.
2. Secure the seat by stretching the shock cord over the seat bottom frame and looping the shock cord around the hook built into the seat holder.
3. Connect the hooks on the left and right straps that hang off the front of the seat to the leash plugs molded in the kayak.
4. Pull the left and right straps tight to secure the seat in place.
Note: The seat can be adjusted for comfort by connecting the hooks on the left and right straps that are fixed to the seat back frame to the loops on the left and right side of the seat bottom frame. The seat can be reclined or adjusted to a more upright position using the webbing and plastic buckle.
