To clean the soleplate, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the iron and allow it to cool.
2. Wipe the soleplate with a soft, damp cloth.
3. Do not immerse the iron in liquids or use abrasive cleansers, scouring pads, or vinegar, as this can damage the finish.
4. Run the iron over an all-cotton cloth to remove any residue.
It is recommended to clean the soleplate if starch or other residue accumulates.
