To install the DYNOJET FJR1300 2006-2012 Power Commander, please follow the steps below:
1. Start by turning off the ignition before beginning the installation.
2. Remove the main seat and lift the front of the fuel tank up.
3. Temporarily place the Power Commander 6 (PC6) in the tool kit vicinity.
4. Route the wiring harness from the PC6 towards the front of the airbox on the left-hand side of the bike. Make sure to route the harness between the fuel tank and the frame. The fuel tank bracket may need to be loosened to fit the connectors through.
5. Pull back the heat shield on top of the airbox to expose the wiring harness.
6. Unplug the stock connector from the throttle bodies to the main wiring harness.
7. Plug the connectors from the PC6 in-line with the stock wiring harness and throttle bodies.
8. Route the ground wire to the right-hand side of the throttle bodies. Route the ground wire under the frame cross member and above the radiator.
9. Attach the ground wire of the PC6 to the negative side of the battery.
10. Use the supplied Velcro strips to install the PC6 in the tool kit tray. Clean both surfaces with the supplied alcohol swab before attaching.
11. Ensure that all wires are properly routed to avoid pinching.
12. Reinstall the fuel tank and seats.
Note: It is recommended to disconnect the stock O2 sensor to maximize the bike's potential and the Power Commander's performance. Follow the wires coming out of your exhaust and disconnect them where they go into the main wiring harness.
