To clean the water tank of the CHI 13101 steam iron, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the iron and allow it to cool down.
2. Lift the Water Fill Door and slowly tilt the iron over a sink to pour out any remaining water.
3. Fill the water tank halfway with warm water.
4. Carefully shake the iron to loosen any residue or mineral deposits inside the tank.
5. Empty the water tank and rinse it thoroughly with water. Do not use detergent.
6. If there is any stubborn residue or mineral buildup, you can use a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water to soak the tank for a few minutes before rinsing it again.
7. Once the water tank is clean, allow it to dry completely before using the iron again.
Regularly cleaning the water tank of your steam iron helps prevent mineral buildup and ensures optimal performance.
