To install additional memory in the iEi DRPC-120-BT Fanless DIN Rail Embedded System, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the system is powered off and disconnected from the power source.
2. Locate the memory slot on the motherboard. The iEi DRPC-120-BT supports one 204-pin DDR3L SO-DIMM module.
3. Gently press the clips on either side of the memory slot to release the existing memory module, if any, and remove it from the slot.
4. Take the new DDR3L SO-DIMM module and align the notch on the module with the notch on the memory slot.
5. Insert the module into the slot at a 30-degree angle and press it down firmly until the clips on both sides snap into place, securing the module.
6. Ensure that the memory module is properly seated by gently pulling on it. It should not come out easily if properly installed.
7. Close the system and reconnect it to the power source.
8. Power on the system and check the BIOS or operating system to verify that the additional memory is recognized.
Please note that the iEi DRPC-120-BT supports a maximum of 8 GB of system memory. If you are unsure about the compatibility of the memory module you intend to install, refer to the product manual or contact iEi support for further assistance.
