To use the Chefman Electric Wine Opener, please follow these steps:
1. Install Batteries: The wine opener requires four AA alkaline batteries to operate. Open the battery cover on the back of the wine opener, insert the batteries according to the positive and negative terminals, and close the battery cover securely.
2. Use the Foil Cutter: Place the circular blade of the foil cutter on top of the wine bottle around the cap. Squeeze the sides of the cutter and twist to remove the foil neatly and safely.
3. Use the Wine Opener: With the bottle resting on a firm work surface, hold the bottle steady with one hand and position the bottom of the wine opener on the wine bottle over the cork. Keep the opener upright and in line with the bottle. Press and hold the PULL button, the lower part of the button, while holding the opener firmly. The corkscrew will turn in a clockwise direction, pierce the cork, and remove it from the bottle. This process takes about 6 to 8 seconds. Once the cork is completely out, the opener will automatically stop. Release the button and remove the opener from the bottle.
4. Release the Cork: To release the cork from the opener, press and hold the RELEASE button, the upper part of the button. The xxxx drill will gradually release the cork completely. Be cautious and keep fingers away from the rotating corkscrew.
5. Use the Wine Pourer: After opening the bottle, you can use the wine pourer to prevent spills and encourage aeration. Insert the wine pourer firmly into the bottle neck and tilt the bottle to pour the wine from the pourer.
6. Use the Vacuum Pump Stopper: If you have leftover wine, you can use the pump vacuum stopper to keep it fresh. Insert the stopper firmly into the bottle neck and pump the handle up and down about 15 times for a half-full bottle. Store the wine with the stopper in place and consume within a week for the best flavor.
