Yes, you can use the Pyramid 5071WP Indoor/Outdoor Waterproof Speaker System without the ceiling mount. The speakers can be unscrewed from the ceiling mount if needed. However, please note that there might be adhesive sealing the speaker's rim, so removing them from the mount may not be recommended.
