The installation process for the MONOGRAM ZIP364NBVII 36 Inch Integrated French-Door Refrigerator is relatively straightforward. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Ensure that you have the necessary space and electrical requirements. The refrigerator requires a 35 1/2" or 36" wide opening, a properly grounded 115 volt 60Hz., 15 or 20 amp power supply, and a separate properly grounded 3-prong electrical receptacle recessed.
2. If you are replacing an existing single-installed product, you can use the Standard Install Kit ZKW36V to install the new refrigerator without any cabinet or electrical modifications.
3. If you are using custom panels, make sure they are 3/4" thick and field-installed. The maximum total panel weight for the Fresh Food Door is 20.7 lbs, for the Convertible Drawer is 7.5 lbs, and for the Freezer Drawer is 17.1 lbs. If using panels constructed with rails and stiles, ensure that they are a minimum of 2" wide.
4. If you are using Statement and Minimalist Collection handles (sold separately), you will need to order them separately and use the ZKPN - Handle Mounting Kit. Custom panels also require a custom handle from the cabinet maker.
5. Follow the provided templates to pre-drill holes for mounting panel brackets. Adjustment screws and instructions are also provided with the unit.
6. Once the panels and handles are properly installed, you can slide the refrigerator into the opening and ensure that it is level.
7. Connect the refrigerator to the properly grounded electrical supply.
8. Adjust the climate settings using the upfront, electronic touch controls to create the ideal food storage conditions.
