To clean the grease filter on the FAGOR 3CFT-605N Kitchen Extractor Hood, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the appliance is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
2. Locate the grease filter, which is usually located on the underside of the hood.
3. Depending on the model, the grease filter may be made of aluminum or acrylic. If it is aluminum, it can be cleaned in the dishwasher. If it is acrylic, it should be cleaned by hand using a mild detergent or liquid soap.
4. To remove the grease filter, refer to Figure 5 in the instruction manual for the specific dismantling instructions.
5. Once removed, clean the grease filter thoroughly using a soft cloth or sponge and the chosen cleaning solution.
6. Rinse the grease filter with warm water to remove any remaining residue.
7. Allow the grease filter to dry completely before reattaching it to the hood.
8. If the appliance is used intensively, it is recommended to clean the grease filter at least once a month.
9. If your model uses an acrylic filter, it should be replaced at least once every 2 months or more frequently if the appliance is used intensively.
