To install the DYNOJET FZ6R 2009-2017 Power Commander, please follow the steps below:
1. Start by turning off the ignition before beginning the installation.
2. Remove the seat and prop up the front of the fuel tank. (Note: Removing the fuel tank is not necessary for this installation.)
3. Secure the Power Commander 6 (PC6) underneath the inner fairing panel using the supplied velcro. Clean both surfaces before attaching using the provided alcohol swab.
4. Route the PC6 harness down the left side of the air box and towards the throttle bodies.
5. Unplug the wiring harness from the throttle bodies. There will be two connectors, one white 4-pin and one clear 6-pin.
6. Plug the connectors from the PC6 in-line with the stock wiring harness.
7. Attach the ground wire of the PC6 to the negative side of the battery.
8. Bolt the fuel tank back into place and reinstall the seat.
Optional Inputs:
- Speed Input: Connect the pink wire of the 3-pin white connector under the fuel tank to the speed sensor located on the engine case near the front sprocket cover.
- Temperature Input: Connect the green/white wire of the 6-pin clear connector under the fuel tank (same as PC6 connection) for temperature input.
- 12V Source for Auto-tune: Connect the blue wire of the tail light connector for the auto-tune feature.
