To change the cutting or rough grinding disc on the PARKSIDE PWS 230 D4 Angle Grinder, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the angle grinder is switched off and unplugged from the power source.
2. Press the spindle locking button to lock the spindle in place.
3. Use the two-hole mounting spanner provided to loosen the clamping nut by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Remove the clamping nut and carefully take off the old cutting or rough grinding disc.
5. Place the new cutting or rough grinding disc onto the mounting flange with the label side facing towards the angle grinder.
6. For a cutting disc, replace the clamping nut with the raised side facing up. For a rough grinding disc, replace the clamping nut with the raised side facing down.
7. Press the spindle locking button again to lock the spindle.
8. Use the two-hole mounting spanner to tighten the clamping nut by turning it clockwise.
9. After changing the disc, run the angle grinder at maximum speed for 60 seconds to ensure everything is properly secured.
10. Check that all fastening elements are correctly fitted before using the angle grinder.
