To install the Hager WHEC2526XXXXX Kallysto Smart Switch, you have two options: installation with adhesive pads or installation with screws. Here are the steps for each method:
Installation with adhesive pads:
1. Ensure that the mounting surface is clean, free of grease, and offers sufficient support.
2. Stick the adhesive pads onto the back of the supporting plate in the indentations provided.
3. Place the supporting plate in the frame.
4. Position the supporting plate and frame on the mounting surface in the correct position and push firmly for 15 seconds.
5. Click the Kallysto Smart Switch into the supporting plate, paying attention to the marking "top" on the module.
6. Push the buttons onto the Kallysto Smart Switch in the right position until they engage.
7. Note that the adhesive pads will reach their final adhesion after approximately 24 hours.
Installation with screws:
1. Use the supporting plate as a template and mark the boreholes on the wall.
2. Drill 5 mm wall plug holes at the marked positions.
3. Fix the frame and supporting plate with the "top" marking on the wall using screws and wall plugs.
4. Click the Kallysto Smart Switch into the supporting plate, paying attention to the marking "top" on the module.
5. Push the buttons onto the Kallysto Smart Switch in the right position until they engage.
Please note that if you want to install the switch on a wall box, additional steps are required. These steps are outlined in the manual and involve removing any previously installed switches, changing the wiring, and installing the fixing plate and frame.
