To install the DYNOJET PC6-20034 Power Commander 6, please follow the steps below:
1. Start by turning off the ignition before starting the installation.
2. Remove the seat and the 4 side covers below the seat on both sides of the bike.
3. Remove the bodywork that holds the front blinkers on both sides of the radiator.
4. Remove the small cover at the front of the fuel tank.
5. Remove the fuel tank and the heat shield below it.
6. Remove the PAIR valve and its bracket.
7. Loosen the bolt and slide the stock MAP sensors off both sides of the bracket. Unplug the electrical connector from the front of the PAIR valve and loosen the hoses from both sides of the valve. This will allow access to the bike's Ignition Coils.
8. Using the supplied Velcro, secure the PC6 module to the top of the bike's battery. Clean the surface with the supplied alcohol swab before applying the Velcro.
9. Secure the PC6 ground wire with the small ring lug to the negative (-) terminal of the bike's battery.
10. Route the PC6 wiring harness forward along the left side frame rail, going under the frame cross-member for the rear shock.
11. Locate and unplug the stock connectors for the bike's Crank Position Sensor. These are a pair of BLACK 2-pin connectors with GREEN and BLACK wires, located on the right side of the bike just in front of the rear shock.
12. Plug the pair of RED 2-pin PC6 connectors with BROWN colored wires in-line with the stock Crank Position Sensor connectors.
13. Locate and unplug the stock connectors from both Fuel Injectors at the top of the throttle bodies.
14. Plug the pair of PC6 connectors with ORANGE colored wires in-line with the LEFT Fuel Injector and the stock wiring harness.
15. Plug the pair of PC6 connectors with YELLOW colored wires in-line with the RIGHT Fuel Injector and the stock wiring harness.
16. Locate and unplug the stock wiring harness from the bike's Throttle Position Sensor on the left side of the throttle bodies.
17. Plug the pair of 3-pin connectors of the PC6 wiring harness in-line with the bike's TPS and the stock wiring harness.
18. Locate and unplug the stock ORANGE/WHITE wire and the stock BLACK wire from the left side Ignition Coil.
19. Plug the pair of PC6 leads with RED/WHITE wires in-line with the stock ORANGE/WHITE wire and the left Ignition Coil.
20. Plug the pair of PC6 leads with GREEN and WHITE/GREEN wires in-line with the stock BLACK wire and the left Ignition Coil.
21. Locate and unplug only the stock GREY wire from the right side Ignition Coil.
22. Plug the pair of PC6 leads with BLUE and WHITE/BLUE wires in-line with the stock GREY wire and the right Ignition Coil. Make sure to slide the insulators on all spade connectors at the Ignition Coils over the connectors to protect the metal from shorting to chassis ground.
23. Reinstall the PAIR valve, heat shield, fuel tank, bodywork, and seat.
