Installation of the DYNOJET PC6-14001 Power Commander 6 involves the following steps:
1. Start by turning off the ignition before beginning the installation process.
2. Remove the seat, tool kit, and loosen the fuel tank.
3. Store the PC6 module in the tail section of the bike and route the PC6 wiring harness down the left side of the bike's frame.
4. Continue routing the PC6 harness along the left-hand side of the frame.
5. Locate the rear fuel injector on the left-hand side of the bike and unplug the stock wiring harness from it.
6. Plug the pair of PC6 leads with YELLOW colored wires in-line with the rear fuel injector and the stock wiring harness.
7. Locate the front fuel injector on the right-hand side of the bike and unplug the stock wiring harness from it.
8. Plug the pair of PC6 leads with ORANGE colored wires in-line with the front fuel injector and the stock wiring harness.
9. Locate and unplug the stock Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) on the left side of the throttle bodies. This will allow access to its wires.
10. Using the supplied posi-tap, attach the GREY wire from the PC6 to the OR wire (C) of the TPS connector.
11. Plug the stock connector back onto the bike's TPS.
12. Remove the black plastic engine cover on the left side of the bike by removing the three bolts.
13. Attach the ground wire from the PC6 to the stock ground location.
14. Reinstall the plastic cover.
15. Use the supplied Velcro to secure the PC6 module in the tail section. Clean both surfaces before attaching the Velcro using the supplied alcohol swab.
16. Reassemble the bike.
