To configure the network connectivity options for the Lenovo ThinkAgile HX3321 Certified Node for SAP HANA, you have several choices. The certified node provides two- or four-port 1/10 GbE RJ-45 or 10 GbE SFP+ network connectivity with the onboard Intel X722 NIC and a LOM card installed in the certified node. Additionally, you can select two, four, or six additional 1/10 GbE RJ-45, 10 GbE SFP+, or 25 GbE SFP28 ports if needed.
To select the network adapter options, you can refer to Table 9 in the user guide for the available options. The table provides details on the different network adapter options and the maximum number of expansion adapters supported in the HX3321 12-drive bay certified node.
It is important to note that supported transceivers or DAC cables should be purchased for the SFP+ and SFP28 ports, and UTP Category 6 cables should be purchased for the 10 GbE RJ-45 ports. The maximum number of transceivers or cables that are supported per adapter equals the quantity of the adapter ports, and all adapter ports must have the same type of transceiver or cable selected.
