To install the Satel SP-4001 R Outdoor Siren, please follow the steps below:
1. Choose a suitable location: Select a location on the exterior wall of your building that provides maximum visibility and audibility. Ensure that the siren is not obstructed by any objects or vegetation.
2. Mounting the siren: Use the provided screws and wall plugs to securely attach the siren to the wall. Make sure the siren is mounted horizontally and that the tamper protection is engaged.
3. Wiring connections: Connect the power supply wires to the siren according to the electrical specifications. The nominal supply voltage is 12V, and the maximum current consumption is 270mA. Ensure proper polarity when connecting the wires.
4. Testing: After installation, test the siren to ensure it is functioning correctly. Activate the siren using your alarm system or a compatible control panel to verify the sound and visual signaling.
