To connect and set up your Jabra Engage 55 USB-C UC Mono headset as the default audio device on your Windows computer, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure your computer has a USB-C port. If not, you may need to use an adapter to connect the headset.
2. Connect the USB-C cable from the charging stand to a USB-C port on your computer.
3. Turn on your Jabra Engage 55 headset by pressing and holding the power button on the headset until the LED light on the base turns solid blue.
4. On your Windows computer, open the Sound settings. You can do this by right-clicking the Sound icon in the taskbar and selecting "Open Sound settings."
5. In the Sound settings window, under the "Output" section, you should see the Jabra Engage 55 listed as an available audio device. Click on it to select it.
6. Click on the "Device properties" link below the list of audio devices.
7. In the Device properties window, go to the "Advanced" tab.
8. Under the "Default Format" section, select the desired audio format for your Jabra Engage 55 headset. It is recommended to use the highest quality format supported by your headset.
9. Click "Apply" and then "OK" to save the changes.
10. Your Jabra Engage 55 USB-C UC Mono headset is now set as the default audio device on your Windows computer. You should be able to hear audio through the headset when it is connected.
