To install and set up the for use in a choir or theater stage, please follow the instructions below:
1. Mounting: The CM-502G6W is designed for suspended installations. Find a suitable location above the choir or stage where you want to hang the microphone.
2. Connect the Cable: The CM-502G6W comes with an 8-meter cable. Connect the XLR connector at the end of the cable to the XLR input of your sound system or mixer. Ensure that the connection is secure.
3. Power Supply: The CM-502G6W requires phantom power to operate. Make sure your sound system or mixer provides DC 48V phantom power. Connect the microphone to the power supply using the XLR cable.
4. Positioning: The CM-502G6W features a flexible gooseneck, allowing you to adjust the microphone's position. Position the microphone in a way that captures the sound from the choir or stage effectively. Experiment with different angles and distances to find the optimal position.
5. Testing: Once the microphone is installed and positioned, test it by speaking or singing into it. Adjust the gain levels on your sound system or mixer to achieve the desired volume. Listen for any unwanted noise or distortion and make adjustments as necessary.
6. Maintenance: The CM-502G6W has an easy-to-replace cartridge unit. If the microphone cartridge becomes damaged or needs replacement, refer to the user manual for instructions on how to replace it.
