To connect the ITC 22805-RGBW-00 Simplified Controller to your lighting system, you have two control options: TiP control and three-wire switch control.
1. TiP Control:
- Connect the input wire to the V+ Brightness Control.
- In TiP control mode, when the controller is turned on, the connected lights will start at minimum brightness and gradually increase in brightness over five seconds.
- Cycling (turning off and back on) the connected switch will keep the light at the current brightness level.
- After selecting the desired brightness or after five seconds, cycling the connected switch will cycle through the available preset colors.
2. Three-Wire Switch Control:
- Connect the input wire to a momentary rocker switch (MOM-OFF-MOM) so that it is in the off idle state.
- Connect the other two pins of the rocker switch to GND and V+.
- The controller can be controlled by the rocker switch as follows:
- Hold the V+ pin for more than one second to toggle the controller ON/OFF.
- Tap the V+ pin to cycle through colors in solid mode or cycle through fades in fade mode.
- Hold the GND pin for more than one second to toggle between solid and fade modes.
- Tap the GND pin to cycle through brightness levels in solid mode or cycle through fade speeds in fade mode.
