To install the nVent Elexant 4010i Replacement Control Module, please follow the instructions below:
1. Ensure that the power to the heat tracing system is turned off before starting the installation process.
2. Locate the existing control module that needs to be replaced. Disconnect any wires or cables connected to the module.
3. Remove the old control module from its mounting location. Take note of the wiring connections and their respective terminals.
4. Take the new nVent Elexant 4010i Replacement Control Module and align it with the mounting holes of the previous module.
5. Connect the wires or cables to their corresponding terminals on the new control module. Refer to the wiring diagram provided in the product manual for proper connections.
6. Once all the connections are made, securely mount the new control module in place using the provided screws or mounting brackets.
7. Double-check all the wiring connections to ensure they are properly secured and insulated.
8. Restore power to the heat tracing system and verify that the new control module is functioning correctly.
