To install the DYNOJET PC6-16013 Power Commander 6, please follow these steps:
1. Turn off the ignition before starting the installation.
2. Remove the main seat and passenger seat.
3. Remove the side panels over each side of the airbox.
4. Remove the fuel tank.
5. Use the supplied Velcro strips to install the Power Commander 6 in the tail section. Clean both surfaces with the supplied alcohol swab before applying the Velcro adhesive.
6. Route the Power Commander 6 wiring harness down the left-hand side of the bike, going underneath each of the frame crossovers.
7. Attach the ground wire from the Power Commander 6 harness to the negative side of the battery.
8. Continue routing the Power Commander 6 harness along the left-hand side of the airbox.
9. Locate the #1 injector connector and unplug it.
10. Plug the ORANGE colored wires of the Power Commander 6 in-line with the stock wiring harness and injector #1.
11. Repeat steps 9 and 10 for the #2 injector using the YELLOW colored wires from the Power Commander 6.
12. Remove the bolts that hold the thermostat housing to the right side of the frame.
13. Repeat steps 9 and 10 for the #3 and #4 injectors.
14. Reinstall the thermostat housing.
15. Unplug the stock wiring harness from the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). This connector is located on the left-hand side of the throttle bodies.
16. Plug the Power Commander 6 harness in-line with the stock wiring harness and TPS.
17. Reinstall the fuel tank and bodywork.
18. Download the latest map files from the Dynojet website at dynojet.com/tunes.
