Installing the microtube platform on the Labnet S2056A VorTemp 56 Shaking Incubator is a simple process that requires no special tools. Here are the steps to install the microtube platform:
1. Start by opening the lid of the incubator.
2. The unit comes pre-assembled with four posts screwed into the shield plate. Grip the microtube platform by the center xxxx .
3. Align the four rubber grommets on the microtube platform with the four posts on the shield plate.
4. Press down gently on the microtube platform to secure it in place. Make sure the platform is aligned properly.
5. For processing large sample quantities, it may be more convenient to use more than one microtube platform and switch between them.
Note: If you work with temperatures over 50°C, it is recommended to use special microtubes designed for use in thermal cyclers. These tubes are molded from plastic designed to withstand high temperatures and allow for fast heat transfer.
