Here is a step-by-step guide to installing the DYNOJET PC6-14003 Power Commander 6:
1. Remove the seat and side panels of your bike.
2. Place the Power Commander 6 near the battery and route the harness down the left side of the bike.
3. Continue routing the harness along the left frame rail.
4. Route the pair of leads with ORANGE colored wires to the right side of the bike, following the frame cross member.
5. Unplug the stock wiring harness from the rear fuel injector, located on the left side of the bike.
6. Plug the pair of leads with YELLOW colored wires in-line with the rear fuel injector and the stock wiring harness.
7. Unplug the stock wiring harness from the front fuel injector, located on the right side of the bike.
8. Plug the pair of leads with ORANGE colored wires in-line with the front fuel injector and the stock wiring harness.
9. Locate the stock Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) on the left side of the throttle bodies.
10. Cut a 1-inch slit in the sheathing of the stock TPS wiring harness to access the internal wires.
11. Using the supplied posi-tap, attach the PC6 GREY wire to the stock ORANGE wire of the bike's TPS.
12. Attach the ground wire from the PC6 harness with the small ring lug to the negative (-) terminal of the bike's battery.
13. Use the supplied Velcro to install the PC6 to the side of the battery, ensuring both surfaces are cleaned with the alcohol swab before attaching.
14. Secure the PC6 wiring harness with the supplied zip-ties to keep it free and clear of any hot or moving parts.
15. Reinstall the side panels and seat.
