To install the Monoprice Aria Series in Wall Speaker, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired location for the speakers on the wall.
2. Use a stud finder to locate the studs in the wall. It is recommended to mount the speakers on the studs for secure installation.
3. Mark the location of the speaker on the wall, ensuring it is level and centered.
4. Use a drywall saw or a utility knife to cut a hole in the wall according to the speaker's dimensions (4 x 13 x 6.8 inches).
5. If the hole is too small, shave the area around the outline until it fits properly.
6. Remove any insulation in the wall around the hole to create space for the speaker.
7. Connect a single, 4-conductor cable from the amplifier to the subwoofer.
8. Connect a pair of shorter, 2-conductor wires from the subwoofer to the satellite speakers.
9. Insert the subwoofer into the hole with the back first and ensure it fits properly.
10. Connect the satellite speakers to the subwoofer using the shorter wires.
11. Secure the subwoofer and satellite speakers in the wall using the provided mounting brackets or screws.
12. Test the speakers by lightly contacting the speaker wire to a battery. You should hear noise if everything is connected correctly.
13. If you don't hear anything, double-check the connections and try again with a different cable.
