To clean the DASH DMW100GP Mini Waffle Maker Machine, follow these steps:
1. Always allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Do not submerge the Mini Waffle Maker in water or any other liquids.
3. Use a damp, soapy cloth to wipe down the Cooking Surface and Cover.
4. Thoroughly rinse the cloth and wipe again.
5. Dry the Mini Waffle Maker before storing.
6. If there is food burned onto the Cooking Surface, pour a little cooking oil on it and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
7. Scrub the Cooking Surface with a sponge or soft-bristled brush to dislodge the food.
8. Use a damp, soapy cloth to wipe down the Cooking Surface again.
9. Thoroughly rinse the cloth and wipe again.
10. If any food remains, pour cooking oil on it and let it sit for a few hours, then scrub and wipe clean.
11. Never use abrasive cleaning agents as they may damage the Mini Waffle Maker and its nonstick Cooking Surface.
