The Bose SoundDock XT Speaker is primarily designed for use with iPods and iPhones that have a Lightning connector. However, it does have an auxiliary input that allows you to connect non-Apple devices, including Android phones, using a 3.5mm male to male cable. So, while the speaker is not specifically made for Android phones, you can still use it by connecting your phone through the auxiliary input. Please note that the speaker's controls and features may be optimized for use with Apple devices, so some functionality may be limited when using an Android phone.
