To install the iCT 21080-XX RGB(W) Amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect power: Before installing, adding, or changing any component, make sure to disconnect the power.
2. Determine installation location: Choose a suitable location for the amplifier, considering its size (3.1”L x 2.5”W x 1”H). Ensure there is enough room for access and wiring.
3. Secure the amplifier: xxxx the amplifier in place using the four 3x15mm stainless steel Phillips pan head screws provided.
4. Wiring diagram: Refer to the provided wiring diagram to correctly wire the module to your system.
- The signal amplifier is recommended for lengths of 20’ or more when using 14 gauge wire. It helps maintain the RGB or RGBW signal over long runs.
- Note that lights cannot be daisy-chained but can be run in parallel as long as the amperage is not exceeded on the amplifier.
