To install the ITC Premium USB Charger, follow these steps:
1. Gather the necessary parts/tools: USB Charger, Butt Splice Connectors (not provided), and a Power Drill.
2. Before starting the installation, ensure that the power is disconnected to avoid any hazards.
3. Take precautions if there are children around by accounting for all parts and destroying all packing materials.
4. It is recommended to add fuse protection to the positive (+) input for added safety.
5. Determine the desired installation location and drill a 1⅛" hole at that spot.
6. Refer to the provided wiring diagram and wire the charger to the incoming 12V DC power accordingly. Test the charger to ensure it is functioning properly.
7. After wiring, feed the wires back through the hole and push the charger into the mounting surface.
8. Finally, tighten the nut on the back of the charger to securely hold it in place.
