To fill the Water Tank of the Steamfast SF-727 Travel Mini Electric Steam Iron, please follow these steps:
1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
2. Place the unit (Ironing Plate down) on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
3. Fill the Measuring Cup with water up to 1.1 oz (32 ml). It is recommended to use distilled or de-mineralized water to minimize the potential build-up of mineral deposits.
4. Open the Water Tank Cap. The Water Tank Cap is tethered to the unit and cannot be completely removed.
5. Pour the water from the Measuring Cup into the Water Tank.
6. Close the Water Tank Cap securely.
7. While steam ironing, you can monitor the water level in the Water Tank through the Water Tank Windows. Ensure that the unit is sitting upright to correctly read the water level.
