To assemble and use the Reliable 3000IS Steam Ironing System, follow these steps:
1. Remove the ironing station from its packaging and ensure all packing materials are removed.
2. Place the ironing station on a flat and solid surface.
3. Use the iron pad (supplied) to protect the surface and withstand the temperature of the iron.
4. Insert the two-piece wand into the flange on top of the boiler and tighten with the side xxxx . Attach the spring on the iron hose to the coil end of the wand.
5. Unscrew the safety cap and fill the boiler with a maximum of 4.65 cups (1.1 liters) of water. Use the funnel supplied and avoid overfilling.
6. Insert the plug into an electrical outlet and switch on the boiler and steam button. The iron and boiler are working when the two button lights come on.
7. Turn the iron plate's temperature regulating xxxx to the "cotton" position.
8. Wait for the boiler button's red light to turn off, indicating that the heating element is activated. This process takes about 10 minutes.
9. The steam station is now ready for use. Press the steam button on the iron to release steam.
10. If the low water light indicator comes on during operation, it means the unit requires more water. Press the steam iron button to release any remaining steam, then slowly open the pressure cap and refill with warm water to the required level. Replace the cap, tighten it, and press the thermostat reset button. Wait for the pressure to build up again.
