To install the ITC 69301-KK Baitwell Light, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect power: Before installing, adding, or changing any component, make sure to disconnect the power source to avoid any hazards.
2. Gather necessary parts/tools: You will need the following parts/tools: Baitwell Light, Butt Splice Connectors (not provided), Power Drill, and Application Specific Sealant (not provided).
3. Prepare the installation location: Determine the desired location for the light and drill a 3/4" hole. Smooth the hole to ensure a proper fit.
4. Wire the light: Refer to the wiring diagrams provided in the manual. Connect the light to the incoming 12V DC power source using butt splice connectors (not provided). Test the light to ensure it is functioning correctly.
5. Secure the light: Feed the wires back through the hole and push the light into the mounting surface. Apply application specific sealant around the light to prevent water ingress. Tighten the nut on the back of the light to hold it in place.
Please note that it is recommended to add fuse protection to the positive (+) input for added safety. The technical specifications of the Baitwell Light are as follows: Voltage: 10 - 14V DC, Current: 0.03A.
