To clean and sterilize the Philips Avent Sippy Cup, follow these steps:
1. Disassemble all parts of the cup.
2. Wash all parts with warm water and dishwashing liquid to remove any food residue.
3. Rinse all parts thoroughly.
4. Sterilize the parts by boiling them in water for 5 minutes or use a Philips Avent sterilizer.
5. Make sure your hands and surfaces are clean before handling the sterilized components.
6. During boiling water sterilization, ensure that the parts do not touch the sides of the container to prevent deformation or damage.
7. If desired, you can wash the cup in the dishwasher, but do not put it in a heated oven.
8. Do not place the cup parts on surfaces with antibacterial or abrasive cleaning agents.
9. Keep the mouthpiece dry and closed when not in use.
10. It is recommended to change the mouthpiece every 3 months.
11. Avoid leaving the cup or mouthpiece in direct sunlight or heat, as well as in disinfectant solutions for longer than recommended, as this can cause wear and tear.
