To connect your Samsung HW-J8500 Soundbar to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available connections on your TV.
1. HDMI Connection:
- Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (TV-ARC) port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
- Make sure your TV's HDMI-CEC function is enabled.
- The soundbar should automatically be recognized and set as the audio output device.
2. Optical Connection:
- Connect one end of an optical cable to the OPTICAL OUT port on your TV.
- Connect the other end of the optical cable to the OPTICAL IN port on the soundbar.
- Set the soundbar's input source to "D.IN" using the remote control.
3. Bluetooth Connection:
- Enable Bluetooth on your TV and the soundbar.
- On the soundbar, press the Source button on the remote control until "BT" appears on the display.
- On your TV, search for available Bluetooth devices and select the soundbar to pair them.
