To connect your Samsung HW-J370 Soundbar to your TV, you can follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your TV and the soundbar are turned off.
2. Locate the HDMI OUT (TV-ARC) port on the soundbar and the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
3. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (TV-ARC) port on the soundbar.
4. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
5. Turn on your TV and go to the settings menu.
6. Navigate to the audio settings or sound settings on your TV.
7. Look for an option related to HDMI ARC or audio output.
8. Select the HDMI ARC or audio output option and choose the soundbar as the audio output device.
9. Turn on the soundbar and set it to the appropriate input source using the remote control or the buttons on the soundbar.
10. Test the audio by playing something on your TV.
Note: Make sure that the HDMI cable you are using supports ARC (Audio Return Channel) functionality. If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC port, you can use an optical cable to connect the TV's optical audio output to the soundbar's optical input.
