To connect your Sharp XG-C50x LCD projector to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure both the projector and your computer are turned off.
2. Locate the RGB input port on the back of the projector. It is labeled "Computer In" and has a 15-pin D-sub connector.
3. Connect one end of a VGA cable to the RGB output port on your computer. This port is also a 15-pin D-sub connector and is usually blue in color.
4. Connect the other end of the VGA cable to the RGB input port on the projector.
5. Turn on your computer and the projector.
6. Press the "Input" button on the projector's control panel or remote control to select the RGB input source.
7. Adjust the display settings on your computer to match the projector's resolution. Refer to your computer's user manual for instructions on how to do this.
8. If necessary, press the "Auto Sync" button on the projector's control panel or remote control to automatically adjust the display settings.
