To connect your Vivitek D508 Portable DLP Projector to your laptop, follow these steps:
1. Make sure both the projector and your laptop are turned off.
2. Locate the VGA or HDMI port on your laptop. The Vivitek D508 Portable DLP Projector supports both VGA and HDMI connections.
3. Connect one end of the VGA or HDMI cable to the corresponding port on your laptop.
4. Connect the other end of the VGA or HDMI cable to the VGA or HDMI input port on the projector. The VGA input port is labeled "Computer In" and the HDMI input port is labeled "HDMI In."
5. Turn on your laptop and the projector.
6. Press the "Source" button on the projector or the remote control to select the input source. Use the arrow keys to highlight either "VGA" or "HDMI," depending on the type of connection you made.
7. Press the "Enter" button to confirm the selection.
8. Adjust the projector's focus and keystone correction, if necessary, to ensure a clear and properly aligned image.
