To connect your BenQ MX716 Digital Projector to your laptop, follow these steps:
1. Check the available ports on your laptop and the projector. The BenQ MX716 Digital Projector supports various input ports, including VGA, HDMI, and USB Type-B.
2. Determine the appropriate cable to use based on the available ports. If your laptop has a VGA port, you can use a VGA cable. If your laptop has an HDMI port, you can use an HDMI cable. If your laptop has a USB Type-C port, you may need an adapter to connect to the projector's USB Type-B port.
3. Turn off both your laptop and the projector.
4. Connect one end of the cable to the corresponding port on your laptop and the other end to the appropriate input port on the projector.
5. Turn on your laptop and the projector.
6. On your laptop, go to the display settings. In Windows, right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings." On a Mac, go to "System Preferences" and click on "Displays."
7. In the display settings, select the option to extend or duplicate the display. This will depend on your preference and how you want to use the projector.
8. Adjust the projector settings if necessary. You can use the projector's remote control or the control buttons on the projector itself to navigate the menu and make adjustments.
9. Test the connection by playing a video or displaying content on your laptop. The projected image should now appear on the screen.
