To connect and set up the j5create JCD401 USB4 Dual 4K Multi Port Hub, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer has a USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 port. The hub is also backward compatible with USB 3.0 or Thunderbolt 3 ports.
2. Connect the hub to your computer using the included USB-C cable. Plug the USB-C connector into the hub's USB-C port and the other end into your computer's USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 port.
3. If you want to connect a display, make sure you have a 4K-capable display. You can connect one display with a resolution of up to 4K at 60Hz or two displays with resolutions of up to 4K at 30Hz. You can use DisplayPort, HDMI, or USB-C to connect the display(s) to the hub.
4. If you want to charge your laptop while using the hub, connect your USB-C power adapter to the hub's power delivery port. This will provide up to 85W of pass-through charging.
5. The hub also features a USB Type-A port that supports 10Gbps transmission. You can connect USB devices to this port.
6. The j5create JCD401 USB4 Dual 4K Multi Port Hub is compatible with both Windows and macOS systems. No driver installation is required.
