To install the SATCO NUVO 7 and 10 Inch LED Disk Lights, follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to turn off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the existing fixture, including the mounting hardware.
2. Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area, ensuring that no small parts are lost.
3. Twist the lens cover counter-clockwise to remove it from the Disk Light.
4. Secure the Crossbar to the Junction Box using the provided Junction Box Screws. Take note of the crossbar mounting position.
5. For the 7-inch Disk Light: Place the Disk Light over the Crossbar and secure it with Junction Box Screws through the canopy Keyholes. Make sure the Disk Light is flush to the ceiling.
6. For the 10-inch Disk Light: Place the Disk Light over the Crossbar and secure the Crossbar through the canopy Keyholes with the provided Short Crossbar Screws. Ensure that the Disk Light is flush with the ceiling.
7. Replace the lens back onto the Disk Light by turning it clockwise.
8. For the electrical connection, connect the fixture input wires to the Junction Box wires as shown in the Wiring Diagram. Make sure all wire connectors are secure.
9. If the Junction Box has a Ground Wire (Green or Bare Copper), connect the fixture's Ground Wire to it. After connecting the wires, carefully tuck them inside the Junction Box.
10. If you wish to dim the lights, the product is compatible with most residential-type dimmers available on the market. The dimming performance will depend on the type of dimmer and its settings. Visit Satco.com for an up-to-date list of compatible dimmers.
11. For cleaning, use a soft or damp cloth while ensuring that the power is OFF. Do not clean with liquids or abrasives.
Please note that the SATCO NUVO 7 and 10 Inch LED Disk Lights come with a 5-Year Limited Warranty, covering any defects in material or workmanship after the purchase date. However, the warranty does not cover faults resulting from improper operation, use negligence, accidents, exposure to natural hazards, excessive use beyond specified limits, or unauthorized alterations or repairs.
