To charge the PHONAK Bolero M50-M hearing aid, follow these steps:
1. Before using the hearing aid for the first time, it is recommended to charge it for 3 hours.
2. Connect the power supply to the charger by plugging the larger end of the charging cable into the power supply and the smaller end into the USB port on the charger.
3. Plug the power supply into a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will turn green when it is connected to the power supply.
4. Make sure the hearing aid is dry before charging.
5. Insert the hearing aid into the charging slots of the charger. Match the left (blue) or right (red) hearing aid markings with the corresponding indicators next to the charging slots. The hearing aids will automatically be muted when inserted into the charger.
6. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging state of the battery. It will be solid green when the hearing aid is fully charged.
7. The charging process will automatically stop when the batteries are fully charged, so you can safely leave the hearing aid in the charger. It can take up to 3 hours to fully charge the hearing aid.
8. To remove the hearing aid from the charger, gently pull it towards yourself and lift it out of the charger. Do not hold the tube to remove the hearing aid, as this can damage it.
9. When the charger is connected to the power supply, the hearing aid will automatically switch on when removed from the charger. The indicator light on the hearing aid will blink, indicating that it is ready for use.
10. If you unplug the charger while the hearing aid is charging inside, make sure to turn off the hearing aid to prevent discharge. Turn off your hearing aid before inserting it into the disconnected charger for storage.
