To assemble the PROAIM JB-SCSR-01 Powermatic Scissor 17ft Telescopic Camera Jib Crane Package, follow these steps:
1. Anchor Dolly Setup:
- Loosen the knobs from the center of the anchor dolly and spread it on the floor.
- Tighten the knobs of the dolly again to secure it properly.
- If you have track wheels (not included), remove the studio wheels and replace them with the track wheels using Allen bolts.
- Lock down the wheels using the provided brakes to keep the dolly in a static position.
2. Euro Mount:
- The dolly has universal standard Euro/Elemac mount threads. You can mount any Euro base accessories like bazooka risers and mount the camera setups.
3. Gravity Jib Stand Setup:
- Take out the gravity robust tripod stand from its case and stretch its legs on the floor as per the requirement.
- Loosen the xxxx at the bottom of the jib stand and stretch its legs on the floor.
- Set the height of the stand as per the requirement and tighten the xxxx back to secure it.
- Insert the plastic stopper into the gravity robust tripod stand and secure it properly with a screwdriver.
- Insert the strap between the dolly and stand, press the strap button, pull out the strap, and insert the strap-end into the strap rest.
- Use safety straps for additional security.
4. Scissor Telescopic Camera Jib Crane Setup:
- Insert the bolt into the hub mounting hole of the Scissor Jib crane and secure it with a wrench.
- Place the Scissor Jib with Hub Mounting on top of the jib stand and insert the Hub Locking xxxx .
- Check the Scissor Jib level with the help of a Bubble Leveler.
- Loosen the gimbal bracket bolts and insert the two guide rods on either side. Tighten the bolts.
- Insert another guide rod into the boom lock bracket and lock it in place.
- Adjust the angle of the Gimbal Bracket if needed.
- Attach the weight rod and secure it properly.
- Insert the weight into the weight rod to balance the camera properly.
- Connect the Jib Controller cable to the right and Motor Driver Cable to the left of the Battery Plate.
- Mount your V-Mount Battery onto the Battery Plate.
- Use the provided xxxx to operate the scissor jib.
- Loosen the xxxx to rotate the scissor crane 360°.
5. LCD Monitor Arm Setup:
- Connect the Monitor Arm and tighten it with the provided screws.
- Fix the LCD Monitor on the Monitor Arm and lock it with the provided xxxx .
- Power your LCD by connecting its wire to the power plug in the motor and the back side of the LCD.
6. Gimbal Fluid Head Setup:
- Attach the Gimbal Fluid Head and lock it with the provided xxxx .
- Mount any Gimbal of your choice and adjust the tension of the Fluid Head as per the requirement.
