To connect your Jabra Engage 75 Stereo headset to your desk phone, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the headset base is connected to a power source and that it is turned on.
2. Connect the telephone interface cable to the headset base and the desk phone. Make sure the cable is securely plugged into both devices.
3. Once the connection is established, the headset will automatically pair with the base. You will see a solid green LED on the base indicating a successful connection.
4. Put on the headset and adjust the microphone position as mentioned in the user manual. Position the microphone approximately 1 inch from your mouth for optimal speech quality and noise cancellation.
5. Adjust the microphone volume using the Microphone Volume Control switch on the base. Match the volume level of the headset microphone to the audio level of your desk phone.
6. Verify that the Dial Tone Switch on the base is set correctly for your desk phone model. Refer to the Quick Start Guide or user manual for your Jabra device to find the appropriate switch setting for your phone. You can also consult the Jabra Compatibility Guide for further assistance.
7. Once everything is set up correctly, you should be able to make and receive calls using your Jabra Engage 75 Stereo headset with your desk phone.
