To descale your Keurig K-Elite Coffee Maker Brewer, please follow the steps outlined in the user manual:
1. Empty the water reservoir and remove any Keurig Water Filter if present.
2. Pour the entire bottle of Keurig Descaling Solution into the water reservoir.
3. Fill the empty bottle with water and pour it into the water reservoir.
4. Press the power button to turn on the brewer.
5. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
6. Run a rinsing brew by selecting the hot water button and choosing the largest brew size.
7. Repeat the rinsing brew process until the "add water" light is illuminated. Do not use a K-Cup pod.
8. Let the brewer stand for at least 30 minutes while still on.
9. After 30 minutes, discard any residual solution from the water reservoir and rinse it thoroughly.
10. Fill the water reservoir with fresh water up to the MAX fill line.
11. Place a large mug on the drip tray and run a rinsing brew using the largest brew size. Do not use a K-Cup pod.
12. Pour the contents of the mug into the sink.
13. Repeat the brew process until you have completed at least 12 rinsing brews using the largest brew size. You may need to refill the water reservoir during this process.
14. Once the descaling process is complete, your brewer should be ready to use again.
Please note that descaling your brewer every 3-6 months is recommended to maintain its performance and prolong its lifespan.
