To install the somogyi NPD 1-BK Grounded Plug Side Cable, please follow the instructions below:
1. Ensure that the unit is voltage-free before starting the installation. This should be done by qualified personnel only.
2. Unscrew the xxxx on the plug and unfold the plastic cover of the plug.
3. Unscrew the cable strain relief.
4. Pull the flexible strain relief on the wire and cut it to the proper size if needed.
5. Remove the sheath insulation, making a 4 cm long cut.
6. Strip the earth (green/yellow), neutral (blue), and phase (brown or black) wires, leaving a 10 mm length.
7. Connect the earth wire to the middle terminal marked with a symbol.
8. Connect the neutral and phase wires to their respective terminals.
9. Fix the cable sheath insulated portion with the strain relief.
10. Fold up the two halves of the plug, ensuring that the strain relief is properly fitted into its place.
11. xxxx the two halves of the plug together.
Please note the following warnings and specifications:
- This plug is designed for indoor use only, in a dry place.
- The temperature range for this plug is 0 - 40 °C.
- The applicable wire cross-section is 1.0 mm2 for wires between 1.4 - 2.0 m long, and 1.5 mm2 for wires between 1.4 - 5.0 m long.
- The strain relief must be fixed only on the sheath insulated part of the wire.
