No, the Clarke HIPPO 5A 750W Submersible Pump is designed for pumping clean water only. It is not suitable for pumping slurry, sludge, mud, heavily polluted water, or any water containing chemicals or acidic contaminants, including salt water. Using the pump for these purposes may damage the pump and void the warranty.
