To assemble the chain saw, follow these steps:
1. Unpack all parts carefully.
2. Place the chain saw on a flat surface.
3. Slide the saw chain into the slot around the chain bar, making sure it is in the correct running direction.
4. Ensure the affixed tensioning wheel has been fully rotated anticlockwise.
5. Fit the chain links around the drive sprocket and mount the chain bar onto the fastening bolt.
6. Check if all parts are seated properly and hold the chain bar and chain in place.
7. Rotate the affixed tension wheel fully clockwise until the chain is partly tensioned and will stay mounted to the chain saw.
8. Reattach the cover and lightly tighten it with the clamping xxxx .
9. The chain is not yet fully tensioned. Follow the steps in the manual to fully tension the saw chain.
To tension the saw chain, follow these steps:
1. Place the chain saw on a flat surface.
2. Turn the clamping xxxx approximately 1-3 turns anticlockwise to loosen the chain bar.
3. Check if the chain links are correctly located in the slot around the chain bar and on the drive sprocket.
4. Turn the chain-tensioning ring clockwise until the correct chain tension is reached. The ratchet mechanism prevents the chain tension from loosening.
5. If the chain-tensioning ring is hard to turn, loosen the clamping xxxx further in an anticlockwise direction.
6. The saw chain is correctly tensioned when it can be raised approximately 3-4 mm from the chain bar in the center.
7. When the chain is tensioned, clamp the chain bar by turning the clamping xxxx in a clockwise direction.
Please refer to the manual for detailed illustrations and additional information on assembly and tensioning.
