To connect the welder to the power supply, follow these steps:
1. Check the voltage requirement of the welder. The Tigren TGN 120 MAT operates on 230V - 50Hz.
2. Ensure that the mains plug on the welder is compatible with your power outlet. The welder is supplied with a UK 13A plug.
3. Inspect the power cables, plugs, sockets, and other connectors for any wear or damage. Replace any damaged components.
4. Connect the welder to the power supply by plugging in the mains plug. Make sure the plug is securely inserted into the power outlet.
5. If you need to use an extension lead to reach the power supply, ensure that it is rated for the correct voltage and fuse rating.
Note: It is important to check all electrical connections and ensure the risk of electric shock is minimized by using appropriate safety devices, such as a residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) or residual current device (RCD). If you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician.
